# DropToPhone privacy

DropToPhone is designed to transfer file content between devices without creating a cloud file library.

## Data handled

- Temporary session tokens, pairing codes and connection timestamps.
- Locally generated device identifiers and device names.
- WebRTC signaling data, including network candidates that can contain IP addresses.
- File names, sizes and transfer history stored only in the browser.
- Ordinary infrastructure logs needed for security and reliability.
